I am on a couple of committees/steering groups, and I write for the local paper. I hope to increase pride in the area and show Wisbech’s hidden gems. It’s a hidden gem itself – plenty of visitors rave about it!
I run a number of twitter accounts to continue this promotion, including a twitter hour (see Digital tab above for details)
I started a Business Club for local creative women (The Penelope Club), with funding from Destination Digital and am continuing to support the club on a voluntary basis. It’s a great way to meet with local women who are working in the area and are keen to see it grow and prosper.
